If you’re a movie buff, then you’ve probably heard the name Woody Allen before. Allen is a comic and filmmaker who has made films like Annie Hall, Blue Jasmine, Cafe Society, Irrational Man, Midnight in Paris, and Take the Money and Run. Allen has been awarded numerous accolades for his work, including four Academy Awards, 10 BAFTA awards, and two Golden Globes. However, Allen has been involved in a fair share of sordid situations.
In August 1992, Woody Allen was accused of sexually abusing his daughter Dylan Farrow, who was seven years old when the allegations were made. A four-part docuseries, titled Allen v. Farrow, examines the accusations and the subsequent custody battle between Allen and his former partner, Mia Farrow.
If you’re wondering whether or not Allen v. Farrow is available on Netflix, then you came to the right place. We have more information for you below.
Is Allen v. Farrow streaming on Netflix?
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the four-episode docuseries will be available on Netflix. The first episode premiered on February 21, 2021, on HBO. A new episode will air every week until March 14. Since the series premiered on HBO, it’s unlikely that it will be moved to Netflix anytime soon.
For a closer look at Allen v. Farrow, then you can check out the trailer below. Sexual abuse can be an upsetting topic, so I would encourage viewers to proceed with that in mind when watching the trailer and the docuseries itself.
If you or someone you know is a survivor of sexual abuse, support can be provided through the National Sexual Assault Hotline. You can find their website and hotline here.
